Newborn Photoshoot FAQ

When should newborn photos be taken?

Newborn babies are best photographed during the first two weeks of life, but I never turn away an older baby. It's best to book your baby's newborn shoot while you're still pregnant, ideally when you get to your second trimester.

Is my baby too old for newborn photos?

I never turn away an older baby. Babies are best photographed in the first two weeks for those adorable squishy, curled up photos, but I also love photographing older babies. If your baby is older than "newborn", they might be awake for the photoshoot and that's ok! You will never regret having photos taken of your new baby at any age.
